Our research expertise has extended Thales Australia’s understandings in the field of photonics, and its collaborations with the world-renowned Australian Centre for Field Robotics has led to the design of Simultaneous, Localisation and Mapping (SLAM) technology to help navigate vehicles under water.
Research collaboration, student placements and authentic industry projects are some of the ways industry can partner with the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies at the University of Sydney.
