"Damaged heart" is literally "explosed heart". It mirrors the image of the inflating love, that leaks out and, haa... I tried to explain this on my blog, if you're curious.

The wording might sound a bit strange in the chorus part. I wanted to keep the meaning of the words in sync with the song, but if I wanted to translate more accurately, I should have gone with something like :

Even if I wander around the world, even if I search with my eyes opened wider, I know there is no one like you, so I want to be with you, but I'm a coward who always hide and can't even confidently say words that are more common than breathing like "please love me, don't make me cry"
