A nourishing no-bake Gujarati winter sweet made with sesame seeds, jaggery, dry fruits, and warming spices. This traditional recipe helps keep the body warm and is especially enjoyed during cold weather.
🧾 Ingredients
• 200 g sesame seeds
• 150 g jaggery
• ¼ cup almonds
• ¼ cup cashews
• ¼ cup raisins
• ¼ cup shredded coconut
• 1 tbsp poppy seeds
• 1 tbsp melon seeds
• 1 tbsp ginger powder
• 1 tbsp pipramul powder
• 1 tsp cardamom powder
• 4–5 tbsp sesame oil
• 2 tbsp ghee
2 tablespoons ghee soak Gond

🥣 Method
1. Lightly crush sesame seeds in a mixer using the pulse mode. Do not over-grind or release oil.
2. Add jaggery to the crushed sesame and blend briefly until combined.
3. In a wok, heat ghee and roast almonds and cashews. Cool and grind coarsely.
4. In the same wok, roast raisins, melon seeds, shredded coconut, and poppy seeds separately. Keep aside.
5. Transfer the sesame-jaggery mixture to a mixing bowl.
6. Add roasted raisins, melon seeds, coarse almond-cashew mixture, coconut, and poppy seeds.
7. Mix in ginger powder, pipramul powder, and cardamom powder.
8. Add sesame oil gradually and mix well to form a cohesive mixture.
9. Grease a bowl or plate, sprinkle some coconut, poppy seeds, and melon seeds.
10. Transfer the mixture, press firmly, and demould onto a plate.
