INGREDIENTS (Exact Measurements)
For Moong Bhaji
1 cup Whole Green Moong (sprouted preferred)
1 small Onion – finely chopped
2 Green Chilies – finely chopped
2 tablespoons Coriander Leaves – chopped
1 teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
½ teaspoon Cumin Powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons Rice Flour
2 tablespoons Rawa / Suji (SECRET INGREDIENT) ⭐
Water – as required
Oil – for deep frying
For Green Chutney
1 cup Fresh Coriander Leaves
½ cup Mint Leaves
2 Green Chilies#MoongBhaji
1 small Garlic clove
1 tablespoon Roasted Peanuts
Salt to taste
Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
Little water for grinding
👩🍳 COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Prepare Moong Mixture
Coarsely grind soaked/sprouted green moong (do not make paste).
Transfer to a bowl.
Add onion, green chilies, coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste.
Add all spices and salt.
Add rice flour and rawa (suji) – this gives extra crispiness.
Mix well. Add little water only if needed.
Step 2: Fry the Bhaji
Heat oil on medium flame.b
Drop spoonfuls of mixture into hot oil.
Fry till golden and crispy.
Remove on tissue paper.
Step 3: Green Chutney
Grind all chutney ingredients into a smooth paste.
Serve fresh with hot bhaji.
