A Beijing blizzard hit on 17 Jan, so we raced to Yuyuantan East-Lake Wetland to check on our web-footed celebs: the Landes geese, bar-headed geese and curly Mallards. While filming, one fluffy “lost-and-found” duck stole the show—remember the viral duckling that vanished from mom’s 10-duck parade last May? Same kid, now grown, refused to eat after spotting its favorite human in the crowd. Result: owner cancels trip, sprints through swirling snow, epic hug captured on cam. Park staff even fixed the water-pump mid-blizzard so the wetland keeps thriving. Hit play for goose bumps, webbed footprints and the cutest snow-angels ever.
