Let's go shopping at Market 32

Описание: Price Chopper, is still....Price Chopper, using the name Market 32. Only took several promotional years to put the new sign on the store. Price Chopper was established in 1932, by Ben & Bill Golub. Price Chopper's(Market 32), parent company is the Golub Corporation, and Northeast Grocery. A conglomerate of 300 stores of Price Chopper and Grand Union(formerly Tops). Headquarters for Market 32, is located in Schenectady, New York and as of 2021, employs 18,000 associates in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
Market 32, located in Rome, New York on North Black River boulevard, has a palate-watering seafood and meat counters. The staff, is always very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable and even know a customer's preferences. That's important in operating any business. The store is extremely clean and I can only recall a recent past dilemma, when the store shelves were not stocked. Every shelf of every aisle, is always being stocked.
I was surprised that Porterhouse steak & Delmonico steaks were the same price per pound. Seafood, seemed a good price. $10.99 a pound for Haddock. So I purchased about 1.4 pounds, and baked in the oven with bread crumbs, lemon slices and butter. Yip. I ate it all for dinner, with a romaine salad & fresh carrots(honey-butter glazed). Hopefully with the on-coming recession(thanks Democrats), food prices might be reduced. Don't count-on-it.
Coffee anyone? I always like that Death Wish brand. But the amount of caffeine is absurd. Utica coffee? Surprised more local restaurants don't serve Utica brand coffee. But the brand I truly like(and you will, too), is Tim Horton's brand. I rarely purchase-it, as it is a treat for myself. Definitely better than that nasty Starbucks & Dunkin Donuts coffee.
And check-out the pasta sauce and olive oils. Can't decide if there is more brands than flavors or the opposite.
As for the fruit & veggies: Outstanding! Market 32, truly does have "Real," Romaine lettuce. Not that store bought crap-in-a-bag. If romaine lettuce leaves are not dark-color green, it's not authentic romaine. I carefully viewed the apples, and grapefruit. Couldn't find a bad one in the entire display.
My only gripe(I'm an American, and entitled to have a gripe), is having the donuts right at the entrance. I just cannot resist purchasing a couple every visit. Maybe New York governor, can create a donut rehab center. All she does is create costly useless rehab centers.
And someone pick-me-up a bag of brown rice. I forgot the rice.
