After subfloor and walls, we move up by framing the roof.
First roof: 2x6 rafters, 16 oc, span approx 6'6"
Second roof: 2x8 rafters, 16 oc, span approx 14'
Both roofs were framed with california (aka blind or overframe) valleys
To maintain waterproof until a roof was put on, I used 14" aluminum flashing tucked under the existing shingles and taped to the Zip sheathing
Roll the Zip tape
