Описание: Records of a Mine Tour to Newman, Port Hedland and Karratha of the Pilbara Region in Western Australia in 2015. The Red Earth Tour was organized by Macro Realty Development Group for investors in their development projects in Pilbara where housing was in acute shortage for mine workers during the mining boom. The site visit covered a brief tour to a mine operation at Mt Whaleback in Newman, iron ore transport and shipping facilities through Port Hedland and a visit to nearby town of Karratha. Participants flew in from Perth to Newman, spent a night in Port Hedland and returned to Perth by flight via Karratha.
