Deputy Commissioner Adil Haider visited all three tehsils of the district on the first day of Eid-ul-Adha to review sanitation arrangements and appreciate the efforts of officers and sanitation staff.

The district administration ensured the timely collection and scientific disposal of sacrificial animal waste, while roads, streets, markets, and designated sacrifice points were thoroughly cleaned. Public places and roads were also washed with rose-water-mixed water to maintain cleanliness and a pleasant environment.

The Deputy Commissioner praised Additional Deputy Commissioner General Raja Haider Abbas, Assistant Commissioners, Deputy Director Local Government, Chief Officers of District Council and Municipal Committees, Gujranwala Waste Management Company officials, and sanitation workers for their outstanding performance despite extreme weather conditions.

He stated that the successful cleanliness operation was made possible through teamwork, dedication, and continuous efforts to provide a clean and healthy environment for citizens during Eid-ul-Adha.
