Born as *Ajay Singh Bisht* on *5 June 1972* in *Panchur village of Pauri Garhwal* (present-day Uttarakhand), Yogi Adityanath did not come from a political family. His father, **Anand Singh Bisht**, served as a forest ranger, while his mother managed the household. Growing up in a disciplined, middle-class environment shaped his early outlook on life.

He completed his *Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics* from *Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University**. During the early 1990s, Ajay Singh Bisht left home and gradually moved toward spiritual life. Around this period, he became associated with the **Ram Janmabhoomi movement* and later came under the guidance of *Mahant Avaidyanath**, the head priest of **Gorakhnath Math* in Gorakhpur.

After his initiation into the Nath sect, he took on increasing responsibilities within the Gorakhnath Math. Despite adopting a monastic life, he remained actively engaged with society, including establishing a school in his ancestral village in **1998**.

Following the death of Mahant Avaidyanath on *12 September 2014**, Yogi Adityanath was appointed **Mahant (Head Priest)* and later became the *Peethadhishwar* of the Gorakhnath Math through traditional rituals.

This documentary traces his journey from a small hill village to becoming a powerful religious and political figure, examining his transformation, beliefs, leadership style, and the controversies surrounding him—presented in a balanced and factual manner.
