Continuous casting machine production process. High-temperature molten steel is continuously poured into one or a group of water-cooled copper molds. The molten steel gradually solidifies into a billet shell along the periphery of the mold. When the molten steel level rises to a certain height and the billet shell solidifies to a certain thickness, the straightening machine pulls the billet out and sprays water in the secondary cooling zone to completely solidify the billet. The cutting device cuts it into a fixed length according to the requirements of steel rolling. This process of directly pouring high-temperature molten steel into billets is called continuous casting.
