Hope Amidst Fear: The Secret of the Jewish Wedding

What is the Hebrew Roots Movement (HRM)?
Broadly speaking, followers of the HRM believe that all believers in Christ are obligated to follow Jewish laws and practices from the books of Moses. In some groups, extra-biblical rabbinic teachings and traditions are elevated (if not in official doctrinal beliefs then in practice) to the same level as Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.
Some Jewish teachings are elevated to the level of Scripture,
The "Jerusalem Council” rejected the notion that the complete Jewish custom (most notably, circumcision), should be followed by Gentile believers also, and (the big lie) that it would be necessary for salvation,
The Apostle Paul refuted many of the most popular teachings of the HRM.

God's Law sanctifies us and convicts us through His Holy Spirit, but following it, does not give us salvation or make us righteous. Only Jesus' blood and ultimate sacrifice on the cross, did that for us once and for all. And trusting in Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we receive pardon and forgiveness for our sins and are washed clean and inherit eternal life.
