Bill Harrell was born in Marion, Virginia. He plays guitar, mandolin, piano and bass. Like Don, he sings all parts. Bill has recorded on several major labels. Before joining Don Reno, Bill had his own band, known as "The Virginians." They were often featured on "The Jimmy Dean Show." Ronnie Reno was also born in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He plays mandolin, guitar, bass and drums; sings lead, baritone and tenor. He started performing at a very early age and is a very accomplished musician and singer. As many of you know, Ronnie is Don Reno's son.

Fred Johnson is playing bass on this album. He was born March 5, 1939, in Jamestown, New York. He first became interested in bluegrass music while attending Cornell University. Fred has played with many famous bluegrass bands. He plays dobro, 5-string banjo, bass and guitar. Fred joined Don for a couple of twin banjo numbers on this session.
