Kia Seltos 2021 starts at ₹ 9.89 Lakh and goes up to ₹ 17.65 Lakh (Ex-Showroom, New Delhi). It comes with 7 variants which split into 24 versions across range.Kia sells the Seltos with two style packages named as Tech Line & GT Line.

Kia Seltos has secured a three star rating in the GLOBAL NCAP crash test. The model tested by the GLOBAL NCAP is the India-spec model code named as SP2i. Indian made Seltos scored 8.03 in Adult Occupant Protection, 15.00 in Child Occupant Protection and Body Integrity comes out as UNSTABLE.

Kia Seltos is based on Hyundai-Kia K2 platform that also develops various Hyundai's and Kia's across globe.

Kia Seltos is offered with two petrol engine option and one diesel engine. First one is a 1.5 litre Smartstream petrol engine producing 113 bhp and 144 Nm of torque and second petrol is 1.4 litre T-GDI turbo-petrol develops 138 bhp and 242 Nm of torque and third one is a 1.5 litre CRDi diesel making 113 bhp and 250 Nm of torque.
A 6-speed manual gearbox will be available with all variants, and there will be an automatic option for each engine like a 6-speed torque convertor for the 1.5 litre diesel, a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission for the 1.4 T-GDI and a IVT for the 1.5 litre petrol.
