Why Does East Perth Look So Run Down?

Описание: Today I took a walk down Bennett Street in East Perth heading towards Perth City to show a side of the area that people don’t always see.
Along the walk I noticed a few things that stood out — worn fencing, a hole in the fence, faded signage and some buildings that look pretty run down from the outside. There’s even an old Chinese restaurant that appears abandoned.
East Perth has some beautiful spots closer to the waterfront, but parts of Bennett Street feel a bit neglected and could probably use a tidy up.
This video is just a walk through the area and my observations from the street. What do you think — does this part of East Perth need some attention and a bit of a clean up?
