Images of Black Women Film Festival Feminine Expressions & Representations
IBW expanded its vision by adding a free Art exhibition FEMININE EXPRESSIONS & REPRESENTATIONS to also provide a platform for artists; female artists expressing their creativity as well as any artists representing women. The exhibition showcased selected photographs and paintings from such artists as Fiona Compton, Hannah Uzor ( nee Hasiciimbwe) and Anthony David King

An adapted version of the 12th century's legend of Princess Yennenga the brave female warrior, who saved the kingdom of his father the King of the Mossi tribe of Burkina Faso and made peace with the enemies. A perfect tale for Euzhan Palcy, the first black female director produced by a major Hollywood studio.
