I didn't manage to get much footage at all of Blackpool (Marton) 31 last time I was at Beamish as my camera ran out of battery, so I made sure I got some this time! So here is Marton 31 in all its glory, along with some other transportation, showing you the huge variety of ways there are to travel around the huge site.
During the day, 31 developed a fault and had to go into the depot. They brought out Newcastle 114, and I was around to catch the swap on camera. I then hopped onto 114 and rode out of the depot on it and carried on my travels. It took all of five minutes!
The tram fleet running that day were, in order of appearance, Leeds 6 (formerly Hull 96), Blackpool (Marton) 31, Newcastle 114, Gateshead 10 and Sunderland 16.
