Los Angeles—based pop recording artist David Davis is having a breakout year after winning NBC’s Songland on Ben Platt’s team for “Everything It Took To Get To You.” That winning song charted at #1 on the New Pop Chart and #2 on the Pop Chart. Davis’s sound is described as a fusion of Pop, R&B/Soul and contemporary music which makes his sound unique and electrifying to witness on stage. With lush soundscapes and big choruses, his music draws influence from artists like Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, and Janelle Monae. Davis’s first album, The Long & Short of It, debuted in 2018 and since then he has collaborated with many well-known producers like RedOne (Usher, Lady Gaga, MIKA) and Ryan Tedder (Beyoncé, Adele). Additionally, Davis’s voice, arrangements, and productions have been featured on chart-topping records, commercials for major brands and networks such as MTV, VH1 and NBC. Not one to be satisfied, Davis went on to play to sold-out clubs and festivals, both as the headliner and as support for the likes of Jon Bellion and Dave Barnes. In his free time, Davis enjoys cooking, camping, traveling and extreme trampolining. Davis lives in Los Angeles with his Black Lab named Ellie and is currently working on his next album, MEMORY LANE, while getting ready to release new singles in 2022.
