The story follows Bell Cranel, a 14-year-old lone adventurer serving the goddess Hestia. He admires Aiz Wallenstein, a famous and powerful swordswoman who once saved her life, causing him to fall in love with her. Bell hasn't realized that many other girls, deities and mortals alike, have also developed feelings for him; most notably Hestia herself, as he gains allies and improves himself with each new challenge he faces.
