"Teuthida" originates from the original Mistful Crimson Morning V2, which planned to have a second week in its story mode surrounding the character; this was notably during the peak of the character of Starved Eggman. With MCM V2s cancellation, Teuthida was entirely scrapped from the mod.

This mod aims to revive and re-conceptualize a lot of those earlier concepts to finally see them to fruition, along with updated lore and additional levels.
