Open Next Gen S has reached a solid BETA BASELINE for full PWM DC Motor control with E-Stop & reset.

Описание: We now have Beta 1.1.3 Dialed in for the ESP32 MCU's for a Base and Tender located operation. It is our plan to finalize the Set up this month and get the DIY Hobby user site up and running for registration and download of all documentation required to acquire all the parts needed, the 3 D prints files, assembly instructions and Software Files to operate both the Base Controller and the Tender Motor Controller. We now have a Beta set up inside the Plastic Tender for the 300 Atlantic, 283 and 290 Pacific classic vintage American Flyer Steam Engines. We are now operating with Level-2 Lite NGS specification features and functions. This bare bones Basic configuration will operate any DC motor and Vintage Flyer Smoke assembly. NGS parts list also include DC field conversion of legacy Universal AC Gilbert Motor which was operated on Transformer AC power. NGS DC conversion replaces the Wire Wound Metal Field Assembly with a 3D Printed DC Field Housing that will hold 4 Super Magnets and operate with the vintage open frame armature and brushes for a DC Motor. The NGC motor control is a PWM device and offer extremely flexible and instant torque ready for pulling Flyer train cars quite well. NGS also has a new designed Smoke Housing LID for the Vintage FLyer Smoke assembly. This PCB bolts on the cast metal housing and holds the Heater coil to create the smoke with power from the Level 2 Controller setup.
