Famous Seafood in Victoria: Fisherman's Wharf Food Tour

Описание: I am so excited to share my first video in Victoria, BC, with you all! I wanted to start with a bang so I went to try some famous seafood in Victoria at the iconic Fisherman's Wharf! Keep watching to discover the highlights of what this famous tourist spot has to offer and I hope you all enjoy this Fisherman's Wharf food tour!

Fisherman's Wharf is a popular tourist destination that was built after World War II when the fishing industry was being further developed in Victoria. In recent history, it has transformed into a harbour that hosts floating homes, restaurants and local shops. It is a really fun experience to visit this area and I thought seeing the floating homes was especially cool. To my surprise, these are apparently not vacation homes and local residents actually live here! Additionally, there are tours offered here for whale watching or taking a water taxi and from what I've read apparently you use to be able to feed seals but this was banned a couple of years ago.

While this is undoubtedly a must-visit spot in Victoria just for the experience, there was also some decent food spots! I didn't absolutely love everything I had but everything was good enough (except maybe the baos I had) and the seafood was generally quite nice, especially in the fish and chips! Overall, come for the vibes and if you are in the mood for some seafood you have serviceable options at The Fish Store and Barb's Fish and Chips!
