For this next lesson, we will discuss environmental injuries and illnesses. You will learn about insect bites and stings - specifically black widow spider bites, ticks, snakebites and other animal bites. You will also learn about environmental related illnesses, which include heat cramps, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, sunburns, frostbite, and hypothermia. You will also learn about toxin and poison exposure and the steps necessary as the first aid responder.
