Kerry Earnhardt, with his wife Rene’, share their own concerns, frustrations and fear for their neighbors’ rural lifestyle should property he hunted with his late father, Dale Earnhardt, be rezoned to build a massive data center.
The proposed Mooresville Technology Park (or as locals call it “The Concrete Monster”) will consume 500,000 gallons of water per day, use 350 megawatts of power, need 120 diesel fuming backup generators and the light and noise pollution remains unknown.
With no environmental impact studies conducted, nor knowledge of the end user, the Mooresville Town Commissioners recently put on the agenda to hear the request to annexation and rezoning of this rural residential/agricultural land they call home in the county!
