Sharon Dixon was born and raised in Waco, Texas, and moved to rural Northeast Texas 30 years ago. Her career path has included roles as a small business owner, preschool and kindergarten teacher, and activities director, in addition to her most cherished roles as a wife, mom, and grandma. After the love of her life, Jimmy, was diagnosed with liver cancer, Sharon discovered her most important calling as an HCC advocate. Today, she encourages and supports others as a Blue Faery Community Ambassador, raises awareness about hepatocellular carcinoma, tends to her garden, and spends time with her family and beloved fur babies.
