We initially had plans for a couple of amateur photographer friends to try and capture some good action shots of planes taking off and landing, but that fell through, so we grabbed the chance for a spur of the moment flight across the Firth of Forth. Having delayed our departure to help a fellow club member we still managed to complete the trip and get back a whole 10 minutes before our cut off time (sunset + half an hour) as well as our visit coinciding with a restored Vietnam era aircraft.
