Clinic Christmas Dinner

After a crazy day at my other job, double the time in traffic to my local train station thanks to an accident near freeway exit intersection, I'm so glad I took the train into CBD for my beachside clinic's Christmas Party 2025! We had our own nook at this gorgeous venue with life music & open dance floor Friday night.

Thought I was 20minutes late for the 815pm event, but food wasn't served to 950pm, despite pre booking set banquet menu. Other than the tardiness for good timing, loved the food!

The highlight for me was the cocktail - One Night in Paris. Yes, it is on the sweet side with vanilla vodka, passionfruit liqueur & white chocolate flakes on the rim, instead of the usual salt...ahhh yummy! I could have this everyday😆 For someone who is a social drinker, this is something. I've definitely discovered my favourite ever cocktail to date!

I enjoyed the entree more than main. The prawn toast, lamb, ceviche were top dishes for me. The rest weren't bad, but didn't wow me. Or perhaps I was just too full as started yawning away by the time mains were served. The dessert was yummy.

Did 1 tequila shot in between, after some coaxing from colleague...after many many years. The perks of not driving...and oh ya, not forgetting not having to drive in the wet wet weather...and almost finishing the murder mystery I've been reading in trains.

Didn't hit the dance floor. Like Cinderella, tried to leave CBD by midnight. I was at the platform by then. At long last, uninterrupted train journey in my line to and from city. That felt like the biggest win!

Another lovely Christmas party with this clinic...coinciding with Thanksgiving season. I'm grateful for having this 2 days a week job security for the past 18 months. Such an A-team! Ahhh if only it was closer to home, I'd work there full time. #Christmasparty #workevent #bestcocktailinmylife
