In 2019, Creative Technology founder Sim Wong Hoo sat down for lunch and a chat with The Straits Times' Sumiko Tan. After a couple of tough years, things were looking bright for the personable chairman and CEO of Creative with the launch of his Super X-Fi technology, which allows headphone users to have an expansive, three-dimensional audio experience. Super X-fi had been his dream and took 20 years to materialise.
Mr Sim died on Wednesday (Jan 4), aged 67. In a bourse filing on Thursday, Creative said Mr Sim “passed away peacefully”, without giving further details. READ MORE: https://str.sg/wyFp
