Hathras gang-rape horror: UP cops try to intimidate victim’s cousin; media entry barred

Описание: As the Uttar Pradesh police continue to bar media into the village of Hathras, after the horrific incident that took place, the only way that is left for the family to forward information to the media is through some other family member.

As the victim’s cousin came out and spoke to the media, the cops immediately came after him and tried to intimidate him. There was no option left for the cousin to run and save himself. The police personnel have been deployed in huge numbers, outside the village, where the media presence is in large number. On being asked certain questions, the police refuse to comment and even deny entry to two individuals, citing section 144.
