The first combo is a situation where you are pushed from the front, and you must get up and quickly counter.

In our Krav Maga Training, we stress first de-escalation and violence prevention, and the use of violence as a last resort. a Krav Maga fight, or a street fight, is always the last thing we want, because no matter how trained you are, you only know how you get in a fight, never how you get out of it. Though this Krav Maga demonstration uses violence as a result, it works under the assumption that the defender was either surprised, or their efforts to de-escalate haven't been successful, and that they cannot move away from the situation.
In that sense, Krav Maga for civilians is different than Military Krav Maga, or for law enforcement, in the sense that civilians do not have to stay or detain the opponent as soldiers or police officers sometimes do. Rather, they can defend themselves and quickly move away.
