Rocking out on Ampeg's Portaflex PF-500 class D versatile bass amp! We're looking at this lightweight, portable and feature rich bass amplifier. How does it compare to Mark Bass' classic Mark Bass MK III? How dies it react to tonal nuances soft / vs hard, bridge vs neck pickup? We'll be testing GK 4x10" and Mark Bass 1x15" cabinets through an Electrovoice RE-320 microphone. We'll also compare that sound to the pre-amp only sound of the Portaflex PF-500.
