The Battle of Chaeronea is the third scenario of the Alexander the Great grand campaign in Chronicles: Alexander the Great. It is about the battle of the same name that took place in Boeotia in 338 BCE, which pitted Philip II of Macedon's forces against those of an alliance of Greek city-states led by Athens and Thebes. The resulting Macedonian victory established their hegemony over Greece, with the notable exception of Sparta (which by that time had long since lost the majority of its territory and military strength).
