Despite safety warnings, we had a wonderful time exploring this interesting town and never felt threatened. While the main road was very busy, the rest of the town was calm and pleasant to explore. We admired two beautiful church buildings - one made of sandstone and the other of bright red brick. As always, we were delighted to see the station nameboards, even though the buildings were no longer there. Driving through Drostdy Village was an amazing experience; it felt like a journey back in time and was truly beautiful.
