At the very least, the explosion provided us with some terrifying, suspenseful moments along with ones that were full of courage, grit, and adrenaline.
There's no denying that The Rookie's female characters are fierce. Celina kicked down a door and pulled her "buddy," Miles, to safety while carrying a piece of glass in her arm.

When Lucy moved a desk off Tim and assisted him in limping to safety, she was acting on pure adrenaline.

Nolan, of course, was also excellent. That's nothing new, though.
But at least Bailey acknowledged it and reprimanded it.

In relation to Bailey, it appears like the series is embracing this DC phenomenon. The show has made an effort to confront Bailey's shortcomings, which many fans find incredibly infuriating, for the first time since her debut.

Even though they did it in such a disorganized and annoying way, maybe they should get some credit for finally getting into that.
At first, she still harbored affections for Bailey, but by the end of the hour, she was prepared to cede the position to DC. She must have reflected after talking to Luna.

Bailey came to the conclusion that although it's normal and necessary for couples to compromise and occasionally one partner must give up something, Nolan is typically the one carrying out all of that.

However, Nolan authorized her to travel to Washington, DC, for this unexpected dream job. And to be honest, his reasoning makes sense.
It's evident by now that Bailey flits between activities and eventually grows bored.

Additionally, he is essentially relying on Bailey being Bailey. Nolan is playing the long game since he knows that Bailey will almost always go back to LA because she will either want to go home or the job won't be as good as it seems.

If that occurs, the question is whether Nolan will be there to greet her. It's unlikely, yet it appears that Bailan has fixed their problems once more and is doing well.
