Today we will take a look at another modding Masterpiece made by Mantis because after the "Harry Potter 1 (PC) without Cutscenes" Mod he has already made there are now plans to make a complete open World castle that connects all the single areas we know from the first game!
The mod we will check out today basically serves a bit as a proof of concept just showing that it is indeed possible to connect maps together in a way that you can freely switch between them and go out and back into the same map and level as well. It's not as connected as I expected when playing the mod YET and a lot of things still depend on the Gamestate you are in and only connect a handful of level at a time but he will be working on making it fully open world very soon as well now!
Overall this was definitely a cool experience and it's interesting to see what's technically possible in this game. This brings us one step closer to an actual Harry Potter 1 PC Bingo which would be super super fun to play. I'm looking forward to see the next update of this mod coming out maybe giving us an actual, properly connected Hogwarts soon!
