I love to eat as much as I love to walk and explore (if not more, as if there was possible), and two things I like about Orange County, California are its proximity to beautiful beaches and the food culture here. I've been to Orange a few times in the past and the food here is AMAZING, especially if you like Asian food and like to challenge your taste buds a bit.
This video is to perhaps provide you with a glimpse of the dining experience in Orange County, in the city of Garden Grove to be exact. Oc & Lau is a Vietnamese restaurant that services all different types of seafood; escargot shrimps, fish, clams, etc. If you're not into seafood, they also serve Vietnamese hot pot, steak and other dishes.
On this visit to Orange County host introduced us to Oc & Lau and we ordered a bunch of dishes. I loved all the dishes and especially enjoyed the snails and coconut with kumquat drink. Afterwards we stopped by Sweethoney Desert a few doors down and finished the night with delicious deserts. Being a fan of durian, I really liked the Durian Thai Special. What a fun night and we definitely went home happy and full bellies!
