George Coutretsis discusses the beautiful Santa Cruz D-Pre War dreadnought acoustic guitar. Pre-war refers to the advanced X bracing that was on Martin D-28s back before the war. This Santa Cruz D-Pre War has a spruce top, ebony fingerboard, Indian rosewood sides and back and advanced X bracing which adds a wonderful bass response and fullness to the guitar plus an incredible amount of volume, which are the characteristics of a pre-war Martin D-28.

Santa Cruz started as a company in 1976 when Richard Hoover began his quest to make the finest acoustic guitars in the world, by hand out of the finest materials. That stands true today, Santa Cruz makes 700 incredible guitars per year, each one by hand.
