Here is a fantastic problem from the International Physics Olympiad 2010 in Croatia and also from the JEE Advanced 2023 Chimney Problem, which was a variation of this one. Also shown in MIT Fluid Mechanics course. So a famous chimney problem! There was some controversy in this problem and the solutions but I would like to focus on the beauty of the physics behind this in this video and the relationship between the height and the temperature gradient. Engineering physics is great!
