This touching story tells the story of a homeless mother who was evicted from her private land; a mother named Sarah, who had built a temporary shelter with her children in the heart of the mountains, next to a large boulder.
With minimal resources and only the help of an operator who brought her a shovel and some tools, Sarah tried to build a stone wall to protect her children. Despite fasting, she prepared a simple breakfast of eggs for her children so that they could go to school.
However, the landowner later objected to their presence, evicted Sarah and her children from the place and destroyed the wall that had been built.The return of children from school due to absences for several days and the principal’s request for parents to be present also shows the direct impact of poverty and homelessness on students’ education.
