#LIVE: First Alert Chief Meteorologist Brady Taylor KWTX is tracking thunderstorms and severe weather in Central Texas. 5.16.24.
An already water-logged Central Texas is yet again under threat for severe thunderstorms and flooding as a storm system pushes through the state Thursday. Thursday will likely be out last First Alert Weather Day for a while as we will finally dry out for a few days after Thursday’s storms push through. A severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect through 5 PM Thursday. The strongest storms could contain up to 70 MPH wind gusts and golf-ball size hail. #KWTX #FirstAlertWeatherDay
