Hey guys! I’m so so happy to tell you that I’ve created my first personal flutter app— for the automated door lock I made for my home! And only just two weeks after diving into Flutter/Dart! I can’t wait to see all I’ll create when I spend even more time using flutter.
If you watched my other video or follow me on LinkedIn, you’ll remember that the lock used to be operated through a react client on any smartphone and allowed you to remotely open and close your door.
Now instead, the app sends HTTP requests to my rust server so that it opens and closes the door remotely using RaspberryPi 4 and a high torque servo— all from the click of a finger!
