Cleveland area weather forecast: Record low temperatures possible overnight and Saturday morning

Описание: Your 11 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Jan. 20, 2026: This stretch of cold continues with the coldest temps expected to occur tonight into Saturday morning, when record lows could be broken.

We'll head below zero for most locations tonight after a Friday full of sunshine. Clear skies will eventually cloud up overnight, but not before temps plummet.

This cold air will remain in place this weekend, but we'll begin to moderate slightly. More clouds are in the forecast Saturday, with some lake effect snow possible with help from a north wind and Lake Huron. Sunshine will return on Sunday with lake clouds as we push 20.

We'll watch from afar as a huge East Coast low spins up this weekend, bringing the potential for heavy snow and strong winds to the Carolinas and to coastal New England.

Our temps will begin to moderate next week as we push into the 20s — still well below average, but we'll be able to at least feel the difference.
