How I shoot Off-Camera Flash in Harsh Sunlight

What's going on gang? The team and I drove 4 hours north to Flowerpot Island, in Tobermory ON, and on or way home, we stopped off at Sauble Beach to capture the golden hour sunset with some off-camera flash.

We had amazing weather and super bright sun, which was great because I had with me the Freewell Variable Neutral Density Filter. This is a 3-7 Stop ND Filter, which helps achieve a shallow depth of field in bright conditions while still maintaining proper exposure. To compensate the underexposed ambient scene, I used off-camera flash with my Westcott FJ800 which created dynamic and dramatic portraits. Check out the video to see how these two performs.
