Last time I had a week off work, the weather was not unlike what many of us are experiencing today, on Christmas Eve! My final walk from this trip to Snowdonia was set around Beddgelert Forest. I'd wanted to head higher up on to the hills and mountains but the wind speeds were high and the rain forever falling in.
A few miles of forestry paths and tracks would be better than staying in the warm and dry, right?
