Let's travel back to the past in the RPG Time Machine. This entry delves into Jade Empire, a RPG that received very little attention in the grand scheme of things. Compared to other behemoths launched by BioWare such as Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age, Jade Empire was often left in the dust despite being fantastic. It casts a wide net by toying with martial arts, being a love letter to the history of China, adding mythical elements, and even crazy mini games. While it is an ode to titles like Shenmue that came before it, it is entirely unique and unlike anything we have played before.
