The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) on Thursday said that the investigation into the Learjet 45 crash at Baramati airport, which claimed the life of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and four others, is progressing expeditiously. In an official statement, the ministry assured that the probe is being conducted in a thorough, transparent and time-bound manner, in accordance with established rules and standard operating procedures. MoCA said ensuring accountability and clarity in the investigation remains a top priority, as authorities work to determine the cause of the tragic crash. Agencies including the DGCA and AAIB are actively involved in the inquiry.
