🎬 About the Game

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade on Sega Mega Drive was released by U.S. Gold in the early 1990s and is based on the legendary 1989 film starring Harrison Ford. Interestingly, this version isn’t the same as the NES or Game Boy editions—each platform got its own unique take on the movie!

Unlike many early licensed games, the Mega Drive version took inspiration directly from scenes in the movie:

🔹 Surviving deadly platforming challenges
🔹 Facing enemies using Indy’s iconic whip
It’s fast, challenging, and full of that classic 16-bit charm!

📜 A Little History

The game was part of a wave of Indiana Jones video titles in the late ’80s and early ’90s. U.S. Gold, a UK-based company, handled many of the European game adaptations for big Hollywood films. While the movie was a massive blockbuster, the game became a hidden gem—known more among collectors than mainstream players.

This version was exclusive to the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and is remembered today for its tough platforming, great sprites, and surprisingly faithful movie moments!
