... And the boats were certainly VERY impressive!

This video shows the boats (or are they yachts?) around the start of racing at Cowes on Day 2 (11th June 2024).

The boats taking place in the racing were Alpha, Atlantic, Ayesha, Cynthia, Elena, Kelpie, Mariquita, Moonbeam, Moonbeam IV, Patna, Thalia, Viveka.
I tried to get as many shots of these as I could, while at the same time capturing some of the racing elements of the action.

I would normally edit my videos down in length to really only show the highlights, but to be honest, I think these yachts look just so fantastic, and given the gorgeous sunny conditions, I decided to just leave the video in a long format. I do understand that some people may get bored with these longer style shots, but for anyone interested in the sailing or these wonderful boats, I really hope that you enjoy the video.
