A sixteen episode drama serial ‘Khuda Zameen Se Gaya Nahin’ on the issue of terrorism and extremism. This serial tapped into some of the best resources for drama production in Pakistan including the playwright, director and the cast.

The drama serial was the first serious attempt at addressing extremism cloaked in religion. Nothing of this nature had ever been attempted in terms of content, depth, style and sheer First, it explores how faith comes to dominate our lives. Both the perpetrator and the victim in the story share the same faith yet, they are worlds apart in interpreting and teaching its many beliefs and values.

However, more than this obvious difference in outlook and approach, the serial offers an intense portrayal of the myriad of issues pertaining to the war against terror. The fight against the imposition of a rigid order and territorial usurpation in the name of religion is at the core of this series. The depiction of the ground reality how the armed forces and a resolute nation take on the militants to win back their freedom and land is woven like a perfect knit. This drama serial is a very accurate depiction of the turnkey solution approach at CRS, and our combined ability to produce some of the most compelling content for our audiences.

Cast: Nouman Ejaz, Aisha Khan, Ayub Khosa, Syed Jibran, Sara Chaudhry, Rashid Naz, Tipu, Khurram, Azim Sajjad. The new faces that are introduced are Zaman Armaghan Hazir, Captain Zishan Ali Malik, and Faizan Khawaja.

Khuda Zameen Se Gaya Nahin Hai has the honor of having been selected for the maximum number of nominations in drama category of 9th LSA.

The five categories include: Best Drama Serial (Terrestrial Channels), Best Writer (All Channels), Best Director (All Channels), Best Actor (Terrestrial Drama) and Best Actress (Terrestrial Drama).
The ace playwright Asghar Nadeem Syed has been nominated for the category of best writer while young maestro Kashif Nisar has been nominated for the category of Best Director.

Ayub Khosa and Sara Chaudhry are contesting in the categories of Best Actor and Best Actress respectively.

It may be noted that recently 'Khuda Zameen Se Gaya Nahin Hai has been conferred upon the special PTV Award for best private drama serial during the year 2009.
