Located in the Satara District of Maharashtra, Karad is a historical and cultural town and a hidden gem of Maharashtra. My visit to Karad just happened as my friend Amit comes from there, and being there was quite a surprise. There's a lot of beauty in the city and also much to do. This video covers some of the most interesting things to do in Karad, including the street-food at the Preeti Sangam.

A very unique feature of the town is the confluence of two rivers, Krishna and Koyna, which meet head-on at 180 degrees. It's worth going there, just to see this itself.
